Growing up too fast

Today was Nate's day off. He planned to pop some corn and settle the kids in the basement to watch Prince Caspian while I taught my piano lessons this afternoon. Well, Logan begged to play with his friend Matthew instead. Jade had an activity for church. Is this the future? I thought we had a few more years before the kids had so many other goings on to have time to sit and watch a movie with dad. Hopefully this won't be the norm.
